Tirana, the capital with many inhabitants, but with little access

Tirana, the city with the largest population in the country, faces great challenges to become a more inclusive and accessible city. Inadequate infrastructure, narrow and often blocked sidewalks, as well as the lack of ramps, make it difficult for pedestrians to move, especially for the disabled and new mothers with strollers. These problems, together with urban stations in dangerous places and the lack of urban planning in new neighborhoods, directly affect the quality of life. 31 minute, explores these issues and challenges that citizens face every day.

"31 Minutes" is developed in cooperation between the Albanian Center for Quality Journalism and Opinion, with the financial support of the United States Embassy in Tirana.
