In “Table Talk”, the next guest is Lyto Alliu, an inspiring figure who combines the role of teacher with that of tourist guide. In addition to his dedication to teaching, Lyto is also an excellent connoisseur of Albanian nature and history, accompanying groups of locals and foreigners to various tourist destinations. Lyto shared with us his experiences from the field, how foreigners see Albania and what impressions they leave with. I also touched a little on the challenges of tourism, starting from the lack of labor, but also the need to increase accommodation capacities in cities like Berat or Gjirokastra. A special part of the interview was dedicated to outdoor activities, such as Star Campers in Permet, Star Campers Kids in Voskopoja and Korça and the magical August nights, at Star Campers in Egnatia, of observing the “falling stars” with a telescope. For Lyton, tourism is more than travel, it is education, inspiration and a way to share the love for Albania.
