Beyond Beaches and Advertising

Considered the pearl of the Ionian Sea, with crystal clear water, ancient villages and breathtaking panoramas, the Albanian Riviera is one of the most coveted natural wonders, not only for locals, but also for tourists from all over the world. But behind this pearl, real challenges are hidden for coastal businesses, such as the lack of labor, institutional support and the difficulty of keeping an economy alive that lasts only 3 months a year. This year, space has also been left for the public beach. But, apparently, that's all they've done, as the standards leave something to be desired. The season continues... and with it, the hope of making Albanian tourism a success story.
