More than 8.3 million tourists visited our country this year, putting Albania in the center of international tourism. This visitor boom brought about the appearance of a new accommodation model for the latter, that of Airbnb. It competes with traditional hospitality, but also presents a new challenge in terms of market regulation. The world is looking to strike a delicate balance around tax collection, economic growth and the need for private enterprise to flourish.
