The second documentary developed by the Albanian Center for Quality Journalism, within the initiative "Barriers in the Community: Effects of the construction of clusters of hydropower plants on the socio-economic status of the local population", with the support of LevizAlbania, an initiative which aims to its main aim is to raise public awareness of the effect of the unregulated construction of groups of hydropower plants in different river basins, on the quality of life of the local population, as well as the activation of the latter in decision-making on matters of special importance.
This documentary sheds light on the lives of the inhabitants of Guri i Bardhë, the birthplace of Pjetër Budi, one of the strongholds of Gjergj Kastriot, a protected natural area and recently a battleground between the inhabitants of the village, who try to protect the culture, traditions, heritage and way of life. their livelihood, and the concession companies that are trying to take away the only source of life left for them, water.
